Hope Health Camps
Hope Health Camps are about healing for the total man – spirit, soul and body. This ministry of the Women of Faith (WoF) grants vulnerable families from communities in Uganda’s cities free one-day access to free healthcare from a team of passionate and certified health professionals and biblical counsellors working around a common mission – proclaiming hope for a better tomorrow.
Hope Health Camps are sponsored by Abundant Life Faith Centre in partnership with SAS Clinic and RUN Foundation. Typical healthcare services covered by Hope Health Camps include:
- General checkups with the doctors
- Screening for high blood pressure
- Screening for obesity through BMI determination
- Testing for malaria
- Testing for diabetes
- Treatment of Common Diseases
- Eye care,
- Dental care,
- Biblical Counselling
- Referral of complicated Diseases

2022 Facts & Figures
The inaugural Hope Health Camp in 2022 drew 221 attendees from various areas, including

These recieved health education, medical services, biblical counseling including 15 individuals dedicated their lives to Christ.
2023 Facts & Figures
In its second year, the 2023 Hope Health Camp saw 354 participants, surpassing the planned target by 60%, with
- 108 individuals benefiting from Biblical counseling
- 111 expressing positive feedback
- 4 giving their lives to Christ
- 2 recommitting their faith..
Attendees came from 7 parishes, including Bunamwaya (62%), Seguku (29%), Ssisa, Kasenge, Mutundwe, Ndejje, and Kikajo. The camp addressed various health needs, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, infectious diseases, skin conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, women’s health issues, and cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, 49 dental cases were handled, with major concerns referred to Mulago Referral Hospital, while the optical clinic provided 38 adults with reading glasses and treated conditions such as allergies and eye infections
2024 Facts & Figures
The 2024 Hope Health Camp provided medical care to 240 patients, comprising 72 males and 168 females, with

- 56 for optical services
- 56 for dental care.
