Every day of 2026 presents an opportunity demanding of us to make choices and take decisions to shape and frame our lives. What would you like December 2026 to look like? Whatever your answer may be, December 2026 can only be a true reflection of the choices and decisions you are making at the start, all the way through the next twelve months of the year. Great choices and decisions will culminate in great results; likewise, bad choices and decisions can only produce ugly results.
Whereas choice reveals one’s preference over another, decision projects the action or resolution taken after a choice or consideration. The two walk hand in hand; the choice made informs the decision taken in any endeavour.
Choices and decisions are like seeds. Be reminded, child of God, every seed produces after its own kind, for the resultant fruit or harvest is in agreement with the nature of the seed. Genesis 1:11 [NIV] No maize seed will produce a mango!!
Every good choice and decision is anchored in the truth of God. There is no better way than this!! With God out of the equation of one’s life, the choices and decisions will ultimately end up in a place called “nowhere”.
Jeremiah 29:11 [MSG] reads, “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not to abandon you; plans to give you the future you hope for.” This is the heartbeat of God for every believer, to sort and fix one up with solutions tailored to their uniqueness. God is not careless in His intentions for us. He has our best interests at heart. There’s an all-time covering for His people: today, tomorrow, and forever. What an assurance!!
Why not seek out God’s plan for your life? One’s choice to accept God’s plans and their decision to put them to work in their lives is what gives them ownership over the same. Anyone who recognises the plans of God as their own, makes a great choice and decision with an assurance of a beautiful end. Connecting and plugging into the wonderful plans of God grants one an opportunity to be equipped and empowered to evolve into the best version of themselves ever!
Whereas God has placed enormous good at our disposal, the power of choice and decision lies in our hands. 2026 can be the best year ever lived for as long as one’s choices and decisions are in sync with His plans for them. Wise up and go for them.
Yes, you can become stronger, healthier, over flow with wisdom, more confident, bolder, fruitful, energised, enlightened, creative, full of vitality and ascend to new heights on account of your choices and decisions. Are the choices and decisions you are making NOW aligned with where you want to be by the close of the year??
Mirror them against His plans to avert self-sabotage!!
